the body pillow between the legs is no longer helping, the hip im lying on gets sore and then i flip, then i wake up from the other one being sore. what works for you?
For me, it's always the hip I'm lying on that gets sore! geez, between getting up to pee, waking up between aches and pains and DH snoring I swear it's like I already have a newborn!
I never sleep through the entire night. I wake up and have to flip a few time. But I do use a body pillow and prop my stomach on it a little bit and that helps me fall asleep.
Yeah between getting up like 4 times in the middle of the night to pee and my sides falling asleep and my seemingly neverending RLPadded to my back aches I almost had it last night when I was laying awake at 4:30 while DH was snoring away, I said in such an angry voice well i'm so glad you can sleep and nudged him.. I felt so bad this morning
I'm not having any luck. The last 4 nights I've averaged 3 hours of sleep. Not because of pain though just cause I can't sleep. Sure sucks. And I'm getting no sympathy because everyone keeps saying "just wait, it gets worse". Fine but I'm still tired. Ugh.
Oh my gosh I roll over at least a half dozen times or more - mainly to drain my stupid sinuses. I haven't had too much leg pain, but I have found that the pillow between the legs actually makes it worse. Now I just throw my arm over the pillow and prop up my belly with it a tad. I usually keep my legs slightly scissored, otherwise my knees get really sore.
It's just trial and error and it keeps changing. GL!

Yes the snoogle was so amazing and now my hips hurt so bad I have to change positions every 45 minutes. I tried making a mountain out of pillows and lying on my back propped up but even the tiniest bit of a recline and I can't breathe. One night I finally said I have to sleep and took benadryll, big mistake. I slept for a solid 4 hours but on one hip and when I woke up the pain was the worst. I have given and decided that sleep is nto something I will get for awhile.

Nothing works for me. I roll around so much at night now that I've given up. Usually I fall asleep on my left side with a pillow between my legs and then wake up on my back. Sleeping on my back still isn't bothersome for me so I don't worry.

Definately this! Although I have 2 dogs that I can add into the mix that wake me up between jumping on and off the bed and scratching and eating. It makes me laugh when people tell me to get ready to not sleep... i dont need to get used to it, i already live it.

I'm with you on that one!
I haven't found anything that really prevents the hip pain. No matter what position I'm in, if I'm still for too long, they get achey.
