food processor same as chopper?

I have a Kitchenaid Chopper, is that the same as a food processor? What do you/will you use to make LO's food?

As long as it will puree foods, it will be fine to use to make baby food.

I use a small food chopper right now. By adding a small amount of formula to the foods, it helps puree it a bit better.

Except bananas... no formula needed for those.
