I currently have a single medela pump that is super loud and painful and I am going back to work soon and need a double pump that is efficient, comfortable and quiet. Which one do you all suggest?
I love my Pump in style advanced. It works great and its so easy to buy extra parts at BRU or anywhere else that sells them. I have heard the other brand you can only get things online.

I'm kinda biased because i have the Medela Pump in style and have never tried the Ameda, BUT that being said, the Medela is a good pump. Not great, because I don't think any pump is fantastic (nothing on the market right now comes even close to mimicing what a baby does), but I'm pretty happy with the Medela.
I would suggest buying two sets of the pump assemblies if you plan on pumping a lot, so one can be drying and you can use the other. I'm thinking of doing that. Also, be sure to always use both pumps on a double pump because you'll get more milk per letdown that way.
