Ranch dressing gives DS a rash around his mouth

What do you think could be causing it?  I just noticed the pattern tonight.  I'm going to watch his butt tomorrow to see if he gets red there too.

We use Wegmans brand dressing.  Maybe we should switch to Kraft or something to see if the same thing happens?  If not, maybe then we can isolate the bad ingredient?

    My nephew is allergic to ranch dressing, which stinks because he really likes the taste.  They found out when he was about the same age as your DS.

    the same thing happened to my DD, but she had it about 4-5 times before the rash happened...

    I haven't given her any since...but we used Hidden Valley...

    but I looked at the ingredients and it has vinegar in it, so I thought maybe that was just kind of harsh on the skin. we don't have any food allergies in our families...so I'm not sure what else it could be. she didn't have a butt rash after she ate it either.

    Probably the vinegar...the same thing happens when DS eats BBQ sauce.
