Tell me a little about your experience, did it make you feel better?
I've never taken anything like this in my life, but I've just been feeling really overwhelmed, anxiety ridden, exhausted, crying a lot, irritable, etc. I thought it was just the normal outcome of my new life with two children (and I guess it could be) but not sleeping has really made everything seem overwhelming. So I got over feeling ashamed about feeling this way, and called my OB and he prescribed this, saying it's safe while nursing.
Re: Have you taken zoloft?
I took it after both pregnancies. With first pregnancy one of my twins was stillborn and the loss was really hard for me. I also had really bad postpartum with both pregnancies. I felt anxious, overwhelmed and like a failure about everything.
I took Zoloft and it worked great for me. I got my energy back, felt better about each day and was really able to plug in to my family. I hope things start to get better for you.
I took it after DS1 was born and worked well. I took it again after DS2 was born but wasn't sleeping then took Lexapro and I still wasn't sleeping. I was put on Trazadone and then finally took myself off. I hated that I couldn't sleep and drove me to tears!!!! Hopefully after this pregnancy I will not have sleepin problems unrelated to the baby. GL!!
On it now, and also nursing. It's considered the safest while nursing.
i feel considerably better
