What's proper nest etiquette? Should I introduce myself when I 'graduate' to a new board?

My DS just turned 6 months yesterday and now I am here and will be asking dumb questions I'm sure. I normally just jump on a board and ask my questions, come back when I can to look at the answers, even if it's the next day or 2 days later or whatever. Just curious if there is Nest etiquette or not.?
