Hi ladies! We found a couple of cribs that we liked this past weekend. However, Baby Bargains says not to buy a drop-side crib (which doesn't affect us anyway - we're both tall people). The second one we liked was Baby's Dream Serenity, but when I measured it out in the nursery at home - it looks like it will be huge in the room.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I just looked this up online and it doens't look much bigger than most standard/convertible cribs out there. Was the 54" length a problem in your room or the 44" width? The width is a bit bigger than most. Length is about the same.
I have a tiny second bedroom as well and now we will probably be getting the Davinci Emily mini-crib. It's 40" x 28" as opposed to 54 x 40 like most were
sorelle "city lights" line in espresso. it's very understated and modern and i love it! the hardwood is nice too... it won't succumb to teeth marks or scratches/dents as quickly.

Definitely double check my #s since I just did a quick search. But most seem to work that way. If the standard size is a problem - definitely look at the Davinci Emily. I loved it in the store.
Only thing annoying about mini's is finding choices for bedding.
