When I left Kate to go to work this morning (with DH, as I do every morning), she cried for a couple of minutes. She did the same thing to my MIL (who is taking care of her right now) yesterday.
Is this separation anxiety? Can I do anything to ease this along?
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."
- Kurt Vonnegut
Re: is this separation anxiety?
probably. i would just act like you always do when you leave-- and don't make a production out of it. It will pass!

sounds like it. And it WILL pass, eventually (only to come back again, disappear again, etc.)
She just needs to learn that "mama always comes back." It's harder on you than on her, I promise. She stops crying within minutes of you leaving.
