Upper back pain- Normal?

So I no longer what pain is pregnancy related and what is just pain, so here is my question for you all! 

I have been having pain in my upper back more on one side  (left) underneath my shoulder blade .Just wondering if any one has this pain as well. I heard of lower back pains, but what is this??  Since I have had a loss I do worry about another one happening!

I am a little over 5 weeks pregnant.

Any help would be appreciated...thank you!

Had it this morning when I woke up.....I slept for 11 hours last night and attribute it to sleeping on my back wrong/sleeping on my side incorrectly.  I am finding it much harder to find a comfortable position to sleep in.

I get back pains too...have them right now actually, Low in my back middle...I was told that its everything in your body shifting, growing, expanding, moving, whatever you want to call it. I believe it, its not persistant and not too painful, but its there.

I have had back pains underneath and between my shoulder blades. I think it's pretty normal.

When I was pg with my ds I had terrible upper back pain...right around where my bra straps hooked...all the way across the back. I tried heating pads, warm baths, massages, everything. Told my midwife about it and she suggested tums...and as it turned out, it was gas.  I had no idea gas pains could be that high or feel like that, but it worked. Might be worth a try for you as well.

Thanks Ladies, Feeling better about it all. Now off to store to buy some TUMS.....

I had a lot of upper back pain in weeks 5-8 or so.  Now I have lower back pain instead.

I had low back pain early on.  It's gone away for now.

Does it feel like one tiny spot is getting super hot?  I get those pains under my right shoulder blade all the time and they are SO uncomfortable!  I think it might be something out of place, my ribs have been moving lately.  I don't think anything is wrong, but call your doctor if you're worried.

I have a little bit of pain... but then I go and see the chiropractor and feel much better.  : )

(he's one that is certified to work on pregnant people and I trust him...)

This exactly. ?I had this problem the other night, took a couple of Tums, burped and the pain was gone. ?I had it with my last pregnancy as well. Hurts like a b!tch.?
