I am not due for quite a while...but....I had to respond to this.
My Mom died when I was 2....her birthday was June 25th. The baby is supposedly due on 7/7/2010 (I have not even made it to my 1st appointment to confirm this). I would think it would be great to have her memory kept alive by having my baby on her birthday. It would be a very heartwarming situation, don't you think?
My nephew was born in 19 years ago (May 22nd)...on the same day she died...many years before (1980).
Completely theoretically, since I'll only be 35 weeks along, it would be nice if we had the baby the last week of December so we won't have to pay our insurance deductible again. Of course, I'd rather have a healthy full term baby!
This! Haha, I'm due at the end of January, and it's sucky that I have to pay my deductible again when the only thing I have used my insurance for in the pregnancy... but I would hate to be a month early too!
I don't have an exact DATE I would love, I just do NOT want her born on 1/23 or 1/10.. these are both family member birthdays- and I hate birthday sharing lol. I want her to have HER own day!
I would love it if he came sometime between 38 and 39 weeks. I am really stressing for some reason about having a baby right at (or a few days before/after) Christmas! Probably because we have family coming into town and it would suck to be in the hospital while they were here. Plus, then it would give me at least a week to get used to the lack of sleep before Christmas! We'll see though, not much I can do but hope.
Am I the only one who wants to go late? I'm due on 11/15 and would like to hold off until 11/22 -- the 15 year anniversary of the day DH and I met! Plus, I've been getting a ton done lately and if I had another couple weeks, I might actually be ready for this baby.
My EDD is May 11, 2010, but I think that it would be cool to be 05/10/10 or 05/05/10. But alas it is the first child so will probably end up on it's great-aunt and uncles b-day (5/18) or grandmothers b-day (5/20). As long as it's healthy!!
I am not pregnant but when I was if I could have picked my delivery date I wouldn't have wanted to. I like looking back on how suprised I was when my water broke and I went into labor. She was due 11/19/08 and was born 11/06/08 so 38 weeks 1 day.
My due date is 01/05/2010, but I would like my baby to be born the last week of December but not on Christmas day! Just so I would have more time to spend with my baby before going back to work, and also my baby is measuring large for his gestational age, so a little early may be a good thing for us?
I'm not yet pregnant, but I'd love a girl in October. Reason being that I was born in October, my mom was October, her mom was October, and her mom's mom was October. So it would be neat to continue that
My EDD is Dec. 25th! While the idea is neat of having my child on Christmas day, I would love for her to arrive Dec. 11th (my sister's bday) so she will be here for Christmas so she can open her gifts! Either way, she will be our most favorite Christmas gift of all!!!
EDD 1/7. I'd like him to come 1/3. Actually 1/10 would be ok, too. I want him to be born on a weekend. We'd go into L&D Sat evening, have the baby early Sun morning, and go home Mon.
I'm probably one of the few people who are going to pick late, but my EDD is Feb. 17th and I would be ok with anything later than that and as much as 2 weeks late (if the dr. clears that it's ok).

My EDD is May 8th next year, and if I could pick, I'd pick any day after the 8th. I know it sounds weird to want to go longer, but I'm in college and May 3 - 7 is finals week for spring semester, so I'd love to be able to finish without having to worry about having the baby and taking my finals.
my due date is march 1, 2010 but my scheduled c-section is feb 22, my husbands birthday is feb 18th and he wants me to deliver on his bday and i would love to make that happen for him, that would be a great gift!
I would pick July 1st, Canada's Birthday! As I am a Canadian currently living abroad it would be wonderful for him or her to have that "Canadianess" built right in! Plus when we do return home they will always have their birthday off ... with fireworks! EDD is July 7th ... so it's not too far fetched!
I'm due Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010. I would choose Monday, February 22nd, 2010 because I have Gd and OB will not let me go to much over the EDD. Also, I don't want to be in the hospital on the weekend, having worked in a hospital, I know the staffing sucks on the weekend.
In a way I do get to pick my delivery date. My daughter was born via emergency cesarian 8 years ago so to avoid complications this one will be a scheduled cesarian. Our due date is July 18th so we'll be scheduled for our delivery about a week earlier on July 12th. It really assits with planning and my husband can request time off months in advance which is beneficial to his work.
My EDD is May 17, 2010...I would choose from the 21st to the 30th because my current mother's ring is an emerald cut peridot with diamonds surrounding it..our daughter's birthday and mine are both in august and i would love it if it fit into the ring I already have. Of course, a healthy little one is really what we pray for!
I don't actually know if I am pregnant yet (test Jan 1st!) but if I am pregnant this month, the est. due date would be 9-9-10. I think that would actually be a pretty cool date. Also 9-11-10 would be good too as that is my late grandma's birthday (actually the first birthday since her passing).

How cool would that be to get that gift? VERY!!

DS - 03.15.08
DD2 - 12.03.09
