Back from 2nd appt - heard the heartbeat!!

Hi ladies Just got back from our 13 week appointment which went well. As has been alluded to here, it's a very quick appointment - blood pressure, pee sample, doppler, questions. We got to listen to the heartbeat on the doppler and the doctor had no trouble finding it. It was so amazing getting to hear the little swish swish of the heart just beating away. Doc said it was at 162 bpm. We also got to hear a cute little whoosh when the baby moved. This is all starting to feel really real now and for the first time I'm allowing myself to get excited!

Hearing that sweet little heart for the first time just melted mine - I had no idea you could fall in love with someone you haven't even met yet.

I got to hear that at 10 weeks.  Isn't it amazing?!  It took such a weight off my shoulders for some reason.  I bet I'll feel that way every time.

Congrats! It does become more real, I was fortunate she did get to hear a hb last week at 9w and it was amazing. Congrats again!

Ooh, I can't wait, my 2nd reg appt is today and I hope they let us hear... I'm asking if they don't offer.  Congrats!
