bassinett question

I have an antique bassinett that I'll be using for baby #2 I think. But the mattress thing that with it is CRAP. It's so thin, do they sell little mattress's for bassinettes? Or should I just put a blanket under the mattress, inside the sheet for a little extra softness. (i don't want it too soft)

yup they sell them I had to get one because I used the bassinet my dh had as a baby

Yes, they sell them, but I would just put a towel down underneath the mattress to add some cushion. No need to spend money, kwim?
