What do you do for back pain?

I am getting a recliner soon which will hopefully be a better place to sit than this couch, but for now how do you deal with back pain? I don't think tylenol will really help but my back is killing me.

I rest as much as possible and lay down. ?I find I do better if I lay down than while sitting up, and it's best when I have a pillow between my legs while laying down. ?Also, I take warm baths. ?My OB also gave me some back exercises to do when it gets really bad, although I have to admit I haven't been good about doing them. ?GL!
