Cervical polyp???

I had my first ultrasound today, and we were able to see the baby and the heartbeat. The heart was so tiny, that they were not able to get the reading on the heartrate, but they did confirm that it was beating. While they were doing the ultrasound, they found a polyp. They said that it was not bleeding, but that we need to watch it. They also said that they can cause miscarriages, but that the chances are lower since we did see a heartbeat. I am so nervous about this, as we are heading to India on Wendsday for 10 days, and I need someone to put my mind at ease!!
