does your DH go to all your appointments?

DH has only been to 3 appointments: the first one, the "heartbeat" one, and the Big ultrasound. We don't find it necessary at all for him to miss work to go to my appointments. They are just routine and usually don't last more than 10-15 minutes. Way more trouble than it's worth, especially now that I'm going every 2 weeks. I'm sure things will change once I get to full term, we'll just play that by ear.

My DH has been to all appts except for maybe 3. He definitely wants to be there for any that include a sono, but the ones where they just weighed/measured seemed like kind of a waste of time for him.

I think from this point forward he'll probably try to be there for all- since we're getting pretty close and there MIGHT be progress. But he only works 15 minutes away from the OB's office.

Nope - only the ones with u/s. He did make another appointment, but by accident only. She was running really late and he had his boss drop him off at the doctors office after work (right around the corner) and he made it in the room before I saw her. He'll probably come to the next appt with an u/s, if we find out ahead of time when that is.

the last appointment my husband went to was the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. he just started a new job and really can't afford to take the time off for 15 min appointments every other week. i really don't mind though, i just update him after the appointment it's usually "baby's heartbeat was 140, i am measuring right on track and everything looks good"

Dh goes to the ones he can. If he is off of work he goes if not then I go alone. like pp said he is saving his sick/vacation time for when LO gets here.  when i am closer to giving birth and we are having the once a week appointsments we may try to schedule it around his work but who knows.

My husband has been to maybe 3 or 4 appointments. Basically, if he can work his schedule out so he's available, he'll be there. If he can't, no big deal. I do like it when he's able to come. Sometimes he has questions that I haven't thought of.

My husband has been to two appts. The sex reveal and a random early appt. because he got out of work early.

DH went to the milestones (first appointment, all of our ultrasounds) but hasn't attended ALL of my appointments. In reality, I'm only there for about 10-15 minutes while they check everything out. My next appointment is this Thursday and weekly appointments from then so I've asked him to start attending every one with me until I finally pop.

My DH goes to every single one. He's off every Wed so I schedule my appt's on Wed. He likes going to them.

DH attended the first appointment.  His job does not allow him the flexibility of taking off a few hours for an appointment and he only gets 2 vaca days per year...yes, per year!  My mom usually goes with me to my appointments.  DH has attended an appointment with me once after that.  I have had a number of growth ultrasounds and I always schedule them on Saturdays so he can attend.

After our big u/s at 19 weeks he hasn't been back.  They are really just so boring now!  He did come to the 4D one we did at 31w, but we paid for that one at a 3rd party place.

At first we weren't planning on him going to all the appointments, but he came to the first one..then to the 2nd because I was having an ultrasound. And my third one (at 15 weeks) he came but we both weren't sure if he really needed to be there at first. But then when I was in my appointment they couldn't find the baby's heartbeat with with doppler initially. So she sent me to have an ultrasound and on the reasoning for it she put "Viability" and I was very freaked out and cried. I was glad he was there and I didn't have to wait for the ultrasound alone. It ended up being ok but now he comes in case anything is wrong..I don't want to be there alone if they found out something bad.  He usually waits in the waiting room when I go back, unless its an ultrasound.

Mine has been to all but 2, due to work and the time of the appointment.  I always ask for the last appointment of the day, which at my hospital is 4pm.  That way I don't miss quite as much work (I only have to leave 1 hour early), and my DH can work a full day and still meet me at at the hospital.  So it works out pretty good.  I gave him the option of not going to all the 2 week appointments but he doesn't seem to mind.  We will see what he decides in a month when we go to every week.  But the last appointment he missed I think he was bummed that he missed it, even though there really isn't anything new from one appointment to the next.  But it is nice that he makes the effort.  I hope it works out for you!

DH has only went to my ultrasounds and nothing else. He hasn't even meet our doctor yet. He can't take off work all the time and no point in him going to watch me get weighted and listen to heartbeat and nothing else.
