I didn't want to hijack the DST post but yes - we have our first two bottom teeth!  All in all he wasn't that bad, he slept much better last night but I felt so bad for him Friday and Saturday night.  I'm hoping now that they've broken the skin he'll be feeling better!  I'm wondering now though how long of a break between these and the next set!

Yay!  Usually once they break the skin you're out of the woods.  I think it was about a month between Eli's first teeth and the next ones, and he got all 4 top ones at that time! 

Eli is getting his bottom canines right now, so all he'll have left are his 2 year molars.  I am so glad we're almost done!

I'm hoping that he's taking on two teeth at once means he'll speed up the process in the long run!  Sadly I admit that I'll be glad when he's six months and I can give him motrin !

Motrin was SO much better for Eli for teething.  We almost never used Tylenol after that, unless he was sick and we were alternating.  Teething tablets worked well for him too.  And on the worst days we used Orajel. 

Eli cut teeth 2 and 4 at a time, but it still felt like he was constantly teething from 6 months on.  But I guess if he cut them 1 or 2 at a time, it would have been worse.  IDK, either way I think teething just sucks.  And I think Eli had a harder time with it than alot of babies, because we never had the "we just woke up and there were more teeth in there" experience I hear some say.  I hated those people.
