What are you doing for closet organization? My friend did some system from Walmart that looked amazing, but I'm on the site and have no clue if it's best to buy one big system or a bunch of separates and put it all together for a customized look. ?
Also, did you plan out your closet with measurements, etc.? Did you just draw it out and then go to the store and buy the pieces you needed according to the plan?
Just wondering how best to tackle this project. If you have links to pictures of what you did, or links to what you bought, that'd be extremely helpful. Thanks!
Re: Closet organization?
The baby room bio has a lot of great ideas for closet organization. https://babyroombio.weebly.com/closets.html
We are just probably going to put in a second bar and shelf for more space since our closet in the nursery is really small.

Yeah, I checked out the baby room bio (my friend's closet and nursery are actually featured there and on some other sites too), but they don't site sources, so it makes it really difficult to figure out how they put the whole thing together and I have no idea where they bought the pieces.
I just ordered this from Walmart.com:
and a few white wicker baskets with blue liners.
Our closet in the nursery already has a few shelves that we plan to use 1 for shoes, 1 for the baskets filled with little things... then another rack for more hanging clothes.
In the dresser drawer we will be buying spring-loaded drawer dividers and divide the drawers for 1) white onesies 2) sleepers and 3) colored onesies (according to the month/size of clothing that the baby is in at the time)
HTH!
My husaband and I went to Home Depot this weekend and found what I think we will do, after looking around at some different options a bit...
We are going to use this piece in the middle...https://www.homedepot.com/Storage-Closet-Storage/ClosetMaid-Selectives/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xr5ZaqudZ3dp/R-100597857/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
And then on each side get these things...https://www.homedepot.com/Storage-Closet-Storage/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xr5Zaqud/R-100047070/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
They have wire shelving with the hanging bars to go with that will allow for a lot of adjustments which we liked b/c in the beginning, we can hang things high, and store some larger items below, and move them as the clothes get bigger, etc.
I think it was much easier to go into the store with the measurement of our closet and pick what we liked (lots of options), than to try to figure it out online or from home.
Good luck!
It depends on if you want for folding stuff or hanging stuff. With my daughters closet I took 2 shower rods and put them up so I have 3 rows of hanging stuff. I also have 3 buckets on the floor for sheets and blankets. With my son's I have a shoe hanging rack, the 3 open hanging thing for pants and shorts and a small compartment hanging thing for sock and hats. 3 fold-able boxes on the top shelf for sheets and blankets. If you want something that is wood. I would go with the build your our cloth stuff. Where you can buy piece by piece for $20 to 30 because when ever you need more you can get them and if you get to many you can put them somewhere else in the house.
Sorry I don't know how to make it clicky.
