Kaiser Permanente Northwest will start giving H1N1 vaccinations on a very limited basis beginning Monday, November 2. For that week, vaccinations will be limited to the following groups in accordance with guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):

• Pregnant women.
• Persons who live with or provide care for infants less than six months old (such as parents, siblings, and day care providers).
• Health care and emergency medical services personnel who have direct contact with patients or infectious materials.

• H1N1 vaccination locations

  Starting November 2, vaccinations for the groups specified above will be available at the following medical offices from 8 a.m. until supplies run out:
• Beaverton
• Cascade Park
• Interstate South
• Mt. Scott
• Longview/Kelso

There will be no vaccine available at our Salem locations the week of November 2.

I am getting ready right now to head on down there! My Dr told me about this a few weeks ago, and said I could wait til my appointment next week. Didn't want to wait though.

No problem ladies!  I went and got mine too!  We were in line at 8:40 and left at about 11:00!!  It was crazy and the line was going outside around the side of the building.  There were probably a couple hundred people!  They were worried about running out before they got too us too!  Glad you ladies got your shots!
