Butter for popcorn.

Yep, my vajayjay makes me smell like a movie theater.  My hubby didn't believe me until he took a whiff.  He says he'll never be able to go to a theater again and act the same way.  He is enjoying laughing about it.

The doctor always asks me if I have any discharge or weird smells.  I guess butter is a weird smell.  Its fun to joke about, but hopefully its not a sign of something going wrong.

There have been a million discharge discussions here, but has anyone else experienced a weird smell like this?

Haha I keep thinking mine smells like salami. So gross I know! DH said he does not think so though...

My discharge has smelled, but not like anything good, such as butter! LOL. I would ask at your next appointment. Is the discharge still white or clear? I had infections but didn't know it cause my discharge wasn't funny colored or anything.

haha wow.  I havent, but Id bring that up at my next appt.  Im not trying to laugh at you, but you sound from your post like you have a sense of humor so its hard to not giggle awkwardly you know?  Im sure you are perfectly fine, but it cant hurt to mention.

I thought mine today smelled like...well... man discharge! Which isn't weird, but we didn't have sex today and thats usually the only time it happens! Lol

AGGGHHHH! I'm not even lying, I thought the SAME thing about 20 minutes ago! I just figured it's b/c we had popcorn as a snack, and maybe the buttery smell was lurking on my clothes...That's what I keep telling myself anyways.

HA!  I can;t even think of eating popcorn now since I smelled this.  (Its been on and off for a week now!)  It used to be a fave snack of mine too.  Anyways, I am glad I am not the only one who has noticed an odd odor.

There's no odd discharge or anything so I think I am fine.

Thanks for listening ladies.  I normally lurk a lot, but who else can I discuss such odd things with?

I'll try to mention it to my doc without busting out laughing.  DH & I will both want to make wise cracks!

I'm having the same problem.  Went to the triage today due to leakage in my pants and the sweet smell but they sent me home!  Which just frustrates me!  They say it's just a discharge but they can't explain the liquid on my pants.

I am "39 wks" preg...but they really are not sure how far along I am.  At my last ultrasound which was 2 weeks ago the baby weighed 7lbs...so I am getting a little concerened that he is going to be large and hard to deliver vaginally.

But I feel your pain on the scents...have you tried scented panty liners?

Mine smells like In'n'Out burgers usually...I'm not sure how to feel about that.

I am just totally paranoid about mine smelling like pee...since I had my daughter I leak when I sneeze, laugh....breathe.  I am so worried about being the lady that stinks like pee!

I know what you mean...i totally had DH smell me tonight because it smelled much sweeter than normal, I totally see the butter reference though, that's what it smelled like too!
