where did you get your rocking sofa style chair?

does this make sense? did any of you get the rocker that looks like a couch type chair and not a wood glider with padding? if you did, where did you get it and how much was it? do you like it and can you add a picture or the website? thanks! we really don't have a lot of money to spend and i think these can get pricey but i like the look of them better than the traditional "nursery" wooden gliders. thanks!

I got one (sorry no picture) from craigslist.  I checked every single day and had almost given up when one got listed! It's not the color I want so I might get a slipcover. It really saved us a ton of money.

we are getting ours at BRU.. i am pretty sure its on the website.. they have a ton... but they have it at our store...  its 500 for the chair and ottoman...  DHs aunt gave us a crib adn changing table so we are splurging on the rocker.. Plus when she is big enough we will bring it down to our living room.

If you mean an uphosltered rocking chair, then we have one from Walmart.   It was $170 for the chair and $60 for the slipcover.  They also have ottomans and slipcovers, but not sure on the price because I didnt get one.

we ordered a Best brand chair like the one you are talking about. it's at buy buy baby for about $499 (no ottoman), but we searched around and found it at a local furniture store for about $429.

although it was expensive, it is well worth it in my opinion! i will be spending a lot of time there, and it's nice enough to put in our rec room later on down the line.
