What dose were you on? Sometimes it just takes a higher dosage. If you still didn't ovulate on max dose, injectables most likely will have a better affect. It works differently then clomid as it is hormones added to your body (clomid is a drug trying to get your body to create those hormones itself)m plus doctors can adjust the dose as the cycle develops to create the desired response. Good luck!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I believe we're at 150mg right now. Do you know what the max dose is? How many cycles do you give it before realizing it's not going to work? I've heard 3 and 6 months.
I haven't been on Clomid yet but m Dr. has warned me that I probably won't O on it because of my low estrogen. If that is the case, then I will get some tests done to make sure my tubes are clear and DH will get a SA...then we move onto injectables.
I didn't O on Clomid, and while my doc wanted to increase the dose, I convinced him to let me try Metformin by itself (w/o Clomid) and so far, it seems to have worked - I O'd on my own for the first time in a year! (I have PCOS) My doc is still pushing the Clomid in addition, but so long as this works I'm going to hold off on the Clomid. Of course, everyone is different, but this seems to be going well for me... GL!

I did a couple cycles of Clomid alone and never O'ed. We then did injectibles/Clomid/trigger which worked. We did that a couple of times and then switched to straight injectibles. GL!

Keep it Natural, Baby!
Since you are pretty close to the max dose they will probably try you on injectibles.
Good luck!
I've read all over the place that 90% of people ovulate within 4 months and 50% of those get pregnant.
