1st appt.. and some random stuff.

Yesterday we had out 1st appt with the dr and we both loved her. She answered all of our questions before we could even ask and told me I could drink 1 can of Pepsi a day.. which has been tough for me to cut out. Sad I know.

After my exam she pulled out the ultrasound machine.. which I was told before that they weren't going to do it then, but would schedule another appt. She said she likes to do the 1st one herself though and we measured just a day short. Then we got to see the heartbeat, which was amazing.

I'm so glad FI got to be there to see it. I originally told him he didn't need to come because I was just getting an exam, but he wants to go to all the appts.

She also wanted to give me a h1n1 shot, so I did that also.. I hate needles and was surprised that I didn't even feel it or any bruising after.

 In other news, my breasts are killing me. I'm 5'4 and about 130 and I already had D cups which were too big for my body. I swear they doubled overnight and when I looked in the mirror today I wanted to cry. I look so unnatural and sooo sore. I can't imagine them growing anymore.

i had DDD's pre-preg with charlie.  by the time he came, i was in an F cup.  i know how frustrating you feel and how it kinda feels freaky.  it was esp. hard with any lower cut maternity shirts.  regular V neck ends up looking like something out of a porn store!! very frustrating.  wish i had some advice, but just know you aren't alone!

I've already gone up 2 sizes from a DD (which is the same as an E) to a G (same as a DDDD). It sucks.

I too naturally have huge boobs (30DDD).  I am not looking forward to them growing any more. :-(

Very exciting first appointment! Congratulations.

I am 5'4" as well, and weigh a little over 120 (I fluctuate about 2-3lbs), and I am all boobs. They hurt like crazy and are getting bigger, and I think they look like Torpedos attached to my chest cavity. I was already a D and am not looking forward to how big I will be by the end of the pregnancy. People neglect to tell you that any fun that can be had from larger breasts is thwarted by soreness, aching, and the occassional stabbing pain!

 I have a professor who is also pregnant. My gp told me to get my h1n1 shot asap, but my prof said that her doc told her not to get it before 20 weeks. I'm waiting til Tuesday to ask my OB for a final opinion!
