What size clothes is your 6 week old in?

My DD is still in NB, she can fit into like 2 or 3 of her 0-3 outfits.  I dont have many NB clothes cause everyone kept thinking I was going to have this huge baby for some reason.  She is long, but skinny..same as I was.  I am having to buy NB clothes that are warmer since the weather has gotten much colder in the past week.  Everyone acts like this is so weird that she is in NB, I just want to know im not alone.

Mine is still in newborn! She was born 6lbs 4ozs... trying to refrain from buying any new newborn gear, I'm hoping she moves into 0-3months soon!

Your not alone - my little guy is still in NB also. He has a closet FULL of 0-3 month clothing that he's not wearing yet, a few things fit, but not many! He was 8lbs 7oz at birth and he's right around 10lbs right now.

she was 8.6.  when i weighed her tuesday she was 9.14.  she is so petite.  we have a closet stuffed with 0-3, there is no more room! lol. I think its weird for me cause her cousin is 6 weeks older and is like a giant compared to dd! her cousin isnt even 3mo. and she is 15.5lbs and in 6 mo. Crazy!

Ok now I'm self-conscious about my 6 week old! Ha ha! She's in 0-3 months and has been for a couple of weeks. I think she'll be in 3-6 mo. when she's 2 months old!

She was 9 lbs 3 oz at birth and 21 1/2", now she's around 12.5 lbs and super long.

My 7 week old is in 3 months... He went from NB directly to 3 months and completely skipped 0-3. 3 months is a little big, but he is long so its the only size that fits his length!

NB is still a little big on Audrey. she's an itty bitty baby, and is 7 weeks tomorrow.

DD was 6 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches when she was born - very long and lean. She grew much more into her length and was 12 lbs 5 oz and 23.5 inches at her 2-month checkup. She is now in 6 months clothes. At 7 weeks, she was mostly in 0-3 months but was in preemie when she was born because she was so skinny. These things can change pretty quickly.

DS outgrew NB clothes around 3 weeks... and he was born just 6lbs 13oz. He is now (11 weeks) mostly in 3m but wears 6m of footed sleepers.

DS is kind of in between NB and 0-3.  I'm sad that Carter's goes from NB to 3 mos.  Anyway, some NB stuff still fits and some 0-3 stuff fits.

My little guy was in NB until about 6 weeks then I switched to 0-3 and I feel like some of those are starting to get a little small now.  Maybe he had a big growth spurt right around then?  Makes me sad because I have so many 0-3 clothes that I feel like he's gonna skip right over!

I've put his NB stuff away but last week when he wore it, he looked liked one of those body builders with the tanks that go really low on the chest.  It was so funny. So he's in 0-3 or 3

My son is only 4 weeks but he's too long for half his NB wardrobe so we're trying to move to 0-3 now. Either that or I'll have to buy more NB clothes!

My son is 11 lbs and still fits into nb onsies but he's too long to fit into nb pajamas

Just an FYI - some brands' "3months" is the same as "0-3 months", it's just a labeling difference.

I'm not much help otherwise - DS couldn't wear most of the NB items we had and went straight to 0-3.

My LO was still in NB.  This post made me sad because I already put away all her NB clothes and am washing 3-6 month clothes now because she's almost out grown all her 0-3.  She's getting so big so fast!

He's still in NB, but I think he's starting to get too long for some of the NB things. I haven't tried to put him any 0-3 mos stuff -- *sniffle* that means my baby's growing up! lol

My guy outgrew his gerber newborn at 5 weeks and started wearing his carters newborn then. 

 He was 7lb 9oz at birth and at 11lbs at 6 wks he was fitting into his carters newborn stuff well. 

He is also long and lean. At 7.5 weeks he's wearing a carters pajama set right now
