need opinions

Hey girls! I haven't ever posted on this board, nor are we even expecting yet, but DH and I are currently having a bit of a debate over boys names, so i figured that you ladies would be the ones to ask about this

 For a Boy's name DH loves Cyrus David B

I'm not crazy about it, but DH is really adamant about it. I simply can't picture myself holding my baby boy and calling him Cyrus...

 I lean more towards trendier names like Gavin and Mason...

I was wondering what you girls think about those names and what you would do or have done in this situation

Cyrus + Billy Ray to me, so I'd put my foot down against that one. David is nice and goes well with a lot of names so that one I'd allow as a fn or mn.

I knew a guy in college named Cyrus (and he was super hot) so I think of him.

You can always nn him Cy.

I don't like Cyrus at all, but I'm not a fan of Gavin or Mason either.
