My office just created a cool effect by putting dry ice in a punch bowl. I know it's just frozen carbon dioxide, but I'm not drinking it for fear I get a piece of that dry ice in my cup.
But then, I'm no scientist. Any advice is appreciated!
Dry ice does not melt, it sublimes directly to gaseous CO2. Just don't swallow the cube, because it would be REALLY cold!

it's really fine! i promise.
