My friend's bachelorette party is going to be in Puerto Rico in March so I'm just going to book everything and that should insure a BFP will be soon to follow.  I better make sure to get the super expensive first class non-refundable tickets too just to seal the deal.

I have to admit, a similar thought has crossed my mind. I figure as soon as we make an expensive and unnecessary purchase, we'd get our sticky baby.

Good idea!  I'm thinking of signing up for a year of FF during the 2ww.  I'm pretty sure I'll get my BFP a couple of days later, wasting the money on the year's membership.

good idea. I am sure it will work. My cousin couldnt get pregnant for a year and half. her and her husband went on a cruise. she came home and thats when she got pregnant. as much as it makes us pissed when people say relax and let it happen. I think there is truth to that.

It does seem like a good plan.  Ironic though, when we were pregnant, I had an accident and totalled my car.  We bought a brand new one that was big enough to hold our expanding family.  Two days later I m/c.  Talk about lame.

Those are good ideas too - my FF membership is up in 12 days so I should renew that right now too.

I really do need to stop living my life every month like I'll be pregnant the next month.  I haven't gone shopping in a year and a half basically.  I have bought a sweater or a pair of pants here and there, but I keep waiting b/c I'll need to buy maternity clothes.  I have a gift card from last Christmas when I had just got my BFP to the outlets that I was saving b/c they have a Motherhood Maternity (or one of those places) store there. 

Am I never going on vacation again b/c I might be pregnant?  F that.  I can lay on a beach and go out to dinner when I'm pregnant just as easily as if I'm not.  So bottom line, I probably will be heading to sunny San Juan in March.  End of rant.

yea, that is definitely the road to a bfp. i may or may not buy a super huge box of tampons and cbfm test sticks every month during the 2ww in an attempt to reverse jinx myself into a bfp...

Now this plan may be a little extreme!  But actually would probably have the highest probability of success unfortunately.

We did the big house thing too.  Of course I wanted to all settled and moved before we even started TTC.  We would have been much better off staying in my smaller house and waiting a bit.  I also gave up my cute little convertible for a super practical Honda Accord.  Why do I not have a BFP yet?

I think my husband wants one of these to stick just so he has an excuse to get a new truck that can fit a car seat (aka, he just wants a 4wd w/ a crew cab and that's the only excuse that would fly!)

Is it bad that I read this and thought, "well that might be worth a try..."

Except we already did the more sensible car thing too, and now I have to drive this #$%#$^ family vehicle around with just me in it.
