Babies: 3 - 6 Months

LO has flushed cheeks . . .

and no other symptoms of anything, no fever, no crankiness, not too hot, she ate well and took a good long nap, just all of a sudden rosy red cheeks.  Before I Google myself crazy, does anyone have any thoughts on what it might be?

Thank you for any help.

Re: LO has flushed cheeks . . .

  • DD is a little younger than your LO and it happened to her a few weeks ago. Was told it's teething. Soon after she started drooling a LOT and chewing on her fingers. :)

Other than teething, I don't know what rosy cheeks are a sign of (other than being warm).  My DD has had rosy cheeks off and on the last few days too.

  • My advice is not to google because you will make yourself crazy.  If there is a fever then you should be watchful and maybe call the afterhours number (?), otherwise, I would call the ped first thing tomorrow.
  • My LO is teething and produced rosy cheeks in the last day or two.

  • Thank you ladies.  I'll keep an eye on the little munchkin and call the ped in the morning.  I'd guess teething though . . .
