Carly update

Well she has only had about 5 poops today so we are doing better then yesterday. The pedi gave me a cup to collect some and take it to the hospital tomorrow for testing if she gets as bad as she was yesterday.

Her cough and nasal is back so we have to now see a pulminaryologist. Grrr.

She weighed in at 13lbs 12 oz

Why do they collect the poop? What will they be testing for?

May - I don't remember the word. I think something like a bacterial infection.

Okay I just looked at the sheet that I have to give to the hospital along with the sample if I take it in. She has the "Clostridium Difficile Toxin, Stool" box checked...so whatever that is. I am afraid to google.

I'm glad she's doing a little better today. I had to collect a stool sample for Cole once when he was an infant. You had to fill the container to a certain line, and I couldn't get enough at a time. So it took me like THREE or FOUR dirty diaper collections to get enough. That was fun. I feel your pain!
