I am floored by how inexpensive yet highly rated they are... I want some real reviews. What do you think of the quality of Graco cribs? Unfortunately, the nearest store for me to look at one in person is around an hour and I have not had a chance yet. Thanks!
Re: Graco crib quality?
I plan on buying the Graco Lauren. I have read all over the place that they are highly recommended. Baby Bargains gives the cribs great reviews.
HINT HINT Wal mart has them the cheapest! $140 or $200 for changing table and crib combo.
We are getting the Graco Sarah crib, I was also kind of shocked they are so inexpensive yet highly rated. Fine by me though, I'd rather pay less!
I haven't seen it in person either though. My mom and I are going to BRU today, so I'm hoping they carry one of the Graco cribs there just to see.
We have the Graco Lauren and love it! It's very sturdy and everyone that has seen it can not believe how expensive it looks compared to the price we paid. We couldn't be happier!
We just ordered the graco sarah crib from walmart (free shipping - target was cheaper, but they wanted to charge $50-ish for shipping - BRU was the most expensive). We saw it at BRU and were really impressed with it's quality. We bought pricier side furniture (dresser, bookshelf/toybox), but figured we'd upgrade to a nicer bed when the little guy gets older. So why spend a fortune when this one gets great quality/safety ratings?
But, we wouldn't have selected it if we weren't impressed with it in the store.

Mine is a Graco Lauren - in fact I just got the e-mail yesterday saying the shipment was in and ready to be picked up! We had registered for it at BRU but Walmart had it on sale for 120 so we got the changing table too - total cost w/tax about 214. Price for crib alone at BRU 180.
Edited to add: I hit post too soon - I ordered the Graco Lauren because most people I know who've had babies in the past 2-3 years bought Graco and love them. Then with Baby Bargains rec - it was an easy given to buy Graco.
Graco is a well rated company. Them & Chicco seem to be the top for baby stuff. I say go for it
we have a graco lauren for DS and We really like it.
He is a teethign monster and did scrape some of the dark finish off in one spot before I got a rail for it, so if you get the dark finish buy a teether rail. But that's the same for any crib really.
