FF now says I O on CD 21 after saying for 2 weeks CD 10. My progesterone level on CD 23 was 8.4. So now we aren't sure if it was just a weak ovulation, or levels have begun to drop because I O'ed earlier, or I O'ed late and levels haven't peaked.
I hate this limbo, I would rather it be yes you ovulated or no you didn't...not this in between and wait and see.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Re: really!?!?
Wow, your chart is confusing. I have no idea wth is going on with it.
Have you considered using a cbefm in addition to your clomid? It might help clarify things a bit? Just a thought.
I hope some of the other ladies have some insight other than "wait and see." Which is my only suggestion. At least you got a + progesterone so you know you O'd, the question is just when!?
lol I am not a chart expert, but if you say it is crazy I believe you. If this cycle doesn't work we are moving onto a RE for injectables...so I don't think the cbefm would be too much help. :-(
I think that's a good idea.
GL! Although, I do hope this cycle does work out!
I was thinking about you and wondering about your blood tests. I think anything over 4 confirms ovulation, so that is good.
On a medicated cycle you want your progesterone to be over 15 on 7DPO. But I see your dilemma, you aren't sure how many DPO you are. Do you have low progesterone issues? If not, then your progesterone number is like a 4DPO. There is the possibility that it could be declining as you suggested. However, I always felt like it was really, really early for you to ovulate only 2 days after your last clomid pill so my gut is that you didn't O on CD10.
The good news is that you did ovulate and your timing looks good even past your CD10 CHs so I would remain positive. If I were you I would ask for another progesterone check in a couple of days.
Thanks for thinking of me! It is hard to tell if I have low progesterone levels as I typically do not ovulate on my own, and even with meds in the past it has not induced an ovulation. The nurse called with my results this AM my doc is on vacation and will be calling me on Monday to discuss it further. But I suppose I am not completely out yet. ;-)
