heavy wetters, help!

I have tried everything to keep DD try at night. She sleeps over 13 hours so it's next to impossible. I have her in Huggies Overnights in a size bigger than her normal diapers and we still get leaks almost every night. Previous to that I tried a size bigger in her Cruisers, Diaper Doublers, Overnights in the normal size... I am out of ideas! Help!

  • We switched to cloth.  It helped.  You can also try Huggies all natural.  Hit & miss for us with them.  But better than some.

  • DS sleeps 13-14 hours per night. I found that limiting his liquid intake before bed helped him wake up "dry". I use the term "dry" loosely because his diapers are LOADED in the am.

I'll give him milk with dinner and then he's usually done for the night - he goes to bed about 1-1.5 hours after dinner.

DD gets her last milk with dinner at 5pm, but she's asleep by 6pm! i dunno how to do it without giving her no liquid at dinner, but that sounds unfair! i'd be thirsty too!

I wouldn't give DS dinner without liquids either.

Did she just start STTN? When DS first started, he woke up wet every.single.morning. After his bedtime moved a little further away from dinner (closer to 7-730), I noticed that we had more dry mornings.

Having said that, he's on hour #15 from last night's sleep so I KNOW he'll be wet when he finally wakes up. My kid could sleep through a war.

  • no she's been STTN since she was 9 weeks old!! lol! She just gave up napping a few months ago so now she sleeps 6pm-7:30am, whereas she used to only sleep 11 hours at night and then nap.
