Well today is my birthday. I'm 39 although I keep telling DH I'm 30.  Well I am (at least) 30. LOL

DH is taking me to my favorite restaurant tonight for dinner.  I can't wait.

Big U/S TOMORROW!!!!  Keep your fingers crossed ladies that LO cooperates.  I had another baby dream last night.  We had the u/s and....

NO PENIS!! HAHAHA

As much as I would LOVE a baby girl I know I'll be just as happy with another baby boy!

My big ultrasound is tomorrow. I don't feel like I have grown any in the last 3 weeks so I hope baby is on schedule with growth. Maybe after tomorrow I will relax even more.

Just checking in.  Getting the H1N1 shot tomorrow.  OB appointment yesterday went great.  Baby is kicking me like it's his/her job.  All is good.

well the final countdown is on... Induction scheduled for Nov 2nd (Monday).  I am getting a little nervous but at the same time, a LOT excited!

Hey all,

I'm just hanging in there. 2 months to go. I ate mountain of Bang Bang shrimp last night from Bonefish and got no heartburn, but the glass of water I drank when I got home did give me heartburn. How does that happen?

We're off to get our H1N1 shots for the whole family this afternoon so wish us luck for short lines

Nothing really new here.  I'm starting to get achy and off and on sciatic nerve pain so that has been fun but other than that no complaints.  And I got my H1N1 shot on Tuesday so that is a HUGE weight off my shoulders!

I just got back from my big U/S....but we already knew it was a boy from our Amnio. Things look good, except little one doesn;t want to cooperate - he is just like his big sister and is breech with his head in my ribcage facing my spine. So after an hour they still couldn't get clear pictures of the heart so we go back in a few weeks for a follow-up U/S. (I had to do this 3 times with DD)!!!.

Also still have partial previa - so they are keeping an eye on that as well.

I see you already have me updated with the induction date for 11/10. We're finalizing the last details around the house and getting very excited.

We're also as prepared (as we will ever be) to say goodbye to our angel. It's going to be tough but, we have love and faith in our hearts!!

I'm just waiting at this point, and trying to be as prepared as possible.  I'm still on modified bed rest because of high blood pressure, so that makes it tough to feel ready when I can't be doing what I need to do!  As of last week my cervix was soft but not at all dilated, so hopefully we've got some movement this week.  If I'm not at all dilated DH may break down and cry - he SO badly wants to hold his little girl!!

Doing fairly well.  Feeling much less tired and less nauseous - hooray!  A bit of an asthma flare up though, boo.  But I have been doubly shot - H1N1 and seasonal flu vaxes - so that is good.

YAY! I'VE BEGUN MY 2ND TRIMESTER!!! I just sent out an e-mail to a bunch of good friends to tell them that there is a little devil on the way. I'm so glad that I can finally "go public" with the baby news!!!

I'm still running 5-6 times per week and everything feels great. My appetite is back and the fatigue is starting to dissipate. Although I'm not in maternity clothes yet, I do have limited wardrobe options. It looks like some shopping is in my future

I am exhausted. I took 20 middle school kids outside today to clean our campus. It took 2hrs and we got four full bags of trash, caught a salamander, and discussed what impact our activity had on the Chesapeake Bay. I was the only adult. It had to be done to get a grant, but it did me in.

Had an appointment yesterday. I am 60% effaced and 1 1/2cm dilated.

I'm almost 39 weeks now and still no action on the baby front.  Saw the doc on Tues and he said the cervix is closed up tight.  I have had bouts of cramps and low back pain (like pms) almost everyday this week, so maybe that means something is happening down there now....God I hope so.  I'm going to go for a long walk or two around the neighbourhood tomorrow to see if I can't get things started....maybe some spicey food for dinner too!  Don't get me wrong, I love being pregnant...but I desperately want to meet my son.  I want to hold him and snuggle and get to see his little personality.  Patience has never been my strong suit and these last few weeks have been hard.  Only 8 days til my official due date.  Doc said he would let me go another 10 days, so at the very latest, I'll have this baby by Nov 17th.

So much going on right now!

I switched from my OB to a MW in the same practice and *love* her! So much better appointment and she spent a ton of time talking to me... We are officially 3rd tri now, and are getting nervous about all of the stuff that still needs done!

Baby is recovering nicely from when we had the H1N1- he is finally measuring ahead again- yay! My blood pressure is a bit high and my fluid levels are borderline low so I'm on 'light duty' for the next two weeks, then she will check it again. On the plus side I passed my GD test and iron levels look good.

When we got home from the MW I got a call from DH's aunt asking if she could throw us a family shower. We weren't expecting anything from that side of the family so we are super grateful and excited!

I had my 18 week appointment on Wednesday.  Everything looks good.  I heard the heartbeat - 152.  My blood pressure is low, my weight gain is normal.  The doctor urged me to get my flu shots.  I'm going soon for the regular one, but can't find the other one around here, they only have the mist right now.  Now, it's just a wait until my next u/s at 21 weeks!

I have entered the 3rd trimester- yeah! I am feeling OK though getting very tired a lot. I have been waking up pretty achy so I bought a huge body pillow. I am eager to get the H1N1 shot but none available yet except for high-risk. I told them I thought I was high-risk due to being PG but they said for now its only for those PG with multiples. Lame. DH & I picked out a crib and glider today for the nursery. Our next goal is to think of girl names...
