Can a baby Carly's age have this??? She has had 16 runny diapers today and now is refusing a bottle and hasn't eaten all that well the last couple hours...I am worried about her getting dehydrated.

have you given her anything else besides formula already? like water or anything like that? i would think she is old enough i guess.. but i cant remember what i use to give ds! lol and he is not even 2 yet!!! you can try chamomile tea also, its naturaly caffeeine free and it settles your stomach.. i guess i would try the pedialite also since she hasnt eaten anything!! i hope she gets better fast.. poor baby!

yes, but with 16 runny dipes, and her getting fussy or not eating well, I'd call your pedi.  Little ones get dehydrated quickly.  good luck.

 

edit:  are her lips dry? when did she pee last? if she cries, is she making tears?  if she goes from fussy to sleepy to fussy to sleepy, get her checked out tonight.
