Today is really not my day - but I'm gonna laugh about this one!

I think EVERYONE knows that DH, the boys and I are going to NC after Christmas.  We are having our baby shower and after that is when we will be taking my boys back to their dads.

We will probably go to NC on Dec 29th or so and not come home until Jan 3rd.

I sent my dad an email about ALL of this a couple of weeks ago.  I wanted to make sure they didn't have any plans and also invited them to the shower.

There was some talk of getting the boys to spend Thanksgiving with my family and DH's family but after I thought about it I decided it wouldn't be a good idea to put them in that situation.  It would cause problems for them and that's the last thing I want to do.  I sent my dad an email about it today.

He asked what their Thanksgiving schedule was and I told him.  Then he asked if they would be babysitting the whole time (they have a little brother).  I told him I didn't know.  Then he proceeded to send me THIS response:

"Well, I'll write that one off. Maybe we get to see them at Christmas."

Are you f*cking kidding me? 

Seriously, I'm going to laugh about this one!

Now I'm wondering if I should be questioning his memory?  He's not old - only 61 - but this has me wondering now!
