QOTD- What do you envision(hmm that looks wrong to me) at your baby shower? What would be your dream shower and your nightmare shower experience?

My nightmare is that no one will throw me a shower So I'm trying not to think about what it would look like jsut incase I don't have one.

My dream shower would be like my bridal shower, where just my close friends and family are there.  Nightmare shower would be if during it I went into labor (happened to a friend of mine, she was 32 or 33 weeks when she had it).

This is #2 for us, so I don't expect to have a shower this time. My shower for DS was great. My best friends and close family spent the afternoon eating great food and relaxing.

Heeeeeey laaaaaadieeeeeeeees!!!!

So my 10/27 appt. went well - heard the heartbeat, love my doc. My next appt. is our big u/s, scheduled for 11/13! We're still team green though.

Re: our list...I know there are a couple of names on there that I see around. Although I couldn't tell you when. Gypsywitch and Ghanttam I definitely remember at some point, but not sure. Eliasmommy I know has been posting recently. I don't know if that helps or not.

QOTD: I really like tying an event together with a theme, so I would love a simple, classy shower that has lots of little touches that all go together. Of course, I will be happy with whatever, if I have a shower, so I won't be disappointed if it's not this way. I think I would only be disappointed if people ended up flaking out when they said they would come or something stupid like that.

Add me to Team Pink!!! Dr. is 90% sure. My next appt is 11-25-09 and will be another u/s to measure internal organs and such, and also to confirm there isn't a dangly!!!

Ideal shower would be just a relaxed environment with no stupid games. I do NOT want my belly measured! I'll do the poopoo diaper thing or the tasting of baby food, but I don't want ANY measurments or to see what people think my size is!

update- doing well, go in for an appointment on Nov. 11th. We are getting really excited for our big u/s which we will set a date for on the 11th.  I am excited to find out if this is a girl or boy.

QOTD: I will not be having a shower for this baby since it is my 2nd.

Hi Ladies!!! I've been a bad Belly Bean- I'm sorry for not keeping up but I've been so tied up at work.  But hope you are all doing well!!!  We had our NT scan and the baby is beautiful!!  DH and I saw that our little bean was waving hi to us throughout the scan!

I know we will most likely have a co-ed shower which is just fine by me (my DH and I both have close friends that we would want to be there).  So my dream shower would include close friends and family and lots of good food!  Nightmare shower: as pp have said, going into labor during the shower.

My nightmare is that I'll have a babyshower...and then a late loss...and then be stuck with a pile of baby related stuff taunting me. Sorry, I'm feeling a little down in the dumps today.

I envision a beatiful cake with the fondant frosting with polka dots on it, all the food and drinks coordinating with either pink or blue.  All of both of our families there and hopefully not a blizzard happening that day.  A nightmare would be me not being able to fly home to have a shower.

A Nightmare Shower for me would be all of my mom's friends and none of mine! She already has 40 people she wants to invite haha!

I envision my shower to be full of excitement, fun and laughter.  And especially a lot of blessings because this is definitely going to be another miracle baby.  I just have that feeling!

QOTD:  Nightmare would be not having one.  My vision is a intimate shower decorated with all pale greens and yellows.  And lot's o cake!!!  Not a fan of the games either would just like to relax and spend some quality time with friends and family.

Hi all...headaches for me too.  Finally broke down and took some tylenol the other day.  Other than that, feeling pretty good.  Next appt is Nov 18.  Hoping to schedule a gender determination u/s at that time too!!

QOTD:  Nightmare shower...probably toooooo many people and crazy embarrassing games.  I hate being the center of attention. My perfect shower?  No games, and close friends and family!

abs i am sooo with you on the headaches! glad i'm not the only one, though i wouldn't wish them on anyone!!

i guess nightmare shower would be no shower... i think my mom will plan me one though.  i may get flamed but i kind of like shower games...i'm a dork i know

can't wait until i have my big u/s.... it's so awesome that some of us already know which team they are on!
