Yeah! I am still waiting for my OB to get the shot and also waiting for my GP to get the regular flu shot. It seems everyone here in NYC only has the nasal mist.
Still no H1N1 vaccine at my OB's practice in Boston for another 2 weeks... and my OB may not even be able to give it, I might have to go to some clinic. EVERYONE around me is coughing. So frustrating!
In final 2 WW after 1st injectible IUI cycle with gonadotropins, Gonal-F. IUI was 9/23. DH will not do another cycle, so this is it for us. History: 6 pregnancies: 5 losses and one DD (born 1-30-2010). Last pregnancy (May 2012) ended in D&E at 9 weeks, testing showed male fetus with an extra 16th chromosone. Recurrent losses thought to be likely due to AMA (I'm 40).
I've pretty much given up hope of getting the H1N1 vaccine while still pregnant. I ask every week and still nothing, with no ETA. I've been on bed rest with a bunch of time on my hands, so all I do is watch the news and get more and more paranoid. I was really hoping to get it in enough time to pass on some immunity to LO, but I guess I'll just have to be really careful with her this flu season.
I am getting mine tomorrow. Yippee! There is a clinic being held at a college campus near me. They are only seeing pg women and children.
Get this... while I was at my OB appointment yesterday,I heard the nurses rushing around and discussing a situation with the dr (luckily, I was already in a room). Here, some goofy woman brought her child with her to her appointment and the kid had the FLU! Seriously? Who is stupid enough to bring someone with the flu to an OB's office? At least the nurses and doctor took it seriously and sprayed everything down and rushed them into another private room.
Three weeks until I can get a flu shot. *Hope I don't get sick* I think the H1N1 is way more important though.
My OB has no idea if or when he'll get the vaccine. He told me some of the places where they have it...but when I checked, all they have is the mist. UGH!
Luckily, I don't work, so I don't go out too much anymore...but DH works in a huge room with a bunch of other people (a cube farm!), so who knows what he might bring home. Scary...
You're lucky. All we have around here are clinics that involve standing around in the elements for hours on end, and I would have to drive about 40 miles just to do that. I hope my OB is getting some soon- or heck if they would just have a clinic in my county, DH would stand in line for me.

I just got mine today! I didn't think anyone had them in San Antonio, but I went to a new doctor and she said they were the only OB in SA that had them. I guess their office manager kept calling who you needed to call and got 50 shots.?
I hope you ladies get yours in soon too, looks like they are starting to come out to the ob/gyn offices now.?
Re: H1N1-Finally
Hurray!
My OB was giving them out today also. The office was a mad-house. I'm glad you're finally getting it!
