My cousin was killed when he was 13. A week before he died, he left a drawing of a cross on his dad's mini dry-erase board, with a note that said "Dad, remember me when you see this cross, I love you, CJ"
Very sentimental and ironic that he used the word 'remember' instead of 'think of me"
I can't imagine losing a child, but having those notes from them have got to be somewhat comforting.
