Just scheduled my c/section!

I know it's months away, but they let me book dd's birth at my appointment today. Only 125 days to go!

She's arriving on March 2 at the latest, 8 days before my due date.

Has anyone had a scheduled c/section? The nurse mentioned that they book them for 7:30 am, and I'm guessing she means the OR, and not check-in time. When will I have to be at the hospital and what should I expect? Thanks!

My last was a sceduled c-section and my next will be as well because of a fibroid I have this time. Last time I checked in at 7 am, c-section was at 9 am, DS was born by 9:05.

My c/s is scheduled for December 7. The actual surgery is at 7:30 AM, but I was told to be at the hospital BY 5:30!! Thank God my MIL is always awake and going by 4:00 so she can come stay with DD#1 as DH and I make the 45 minute drive to the hospital. It's kinda nice knowing exactly when baby will come--I'm not a person who likes surprises. My first one was a scheduled c/s also, but she decided to come a few days early, so maybe this one will also surprise us (my original due date is December 10).

I had to be there about 2 hours early. Thinking back, I don't remember waiting around too long either. I guess it was just the right amount of time even though it seems really early. I couldn't really sleep the night before anyway and I was SO ready for baby to come that I didn't care about the early hour.
