I havent been on that much, but what happened. last I heard your water broke....how are you and baby?

oy, lol, what a fiasco! He's still in there and they are trying to keep it that way for another week, his lungs seem a bit premature still. I was in full-blown shoot me now labor and was ruptured and they transferred me to another hosital and tried to slow the contraz for that to happen. Everyone was telling me "You will have a baby in the next 24 hrs. no matter what" so we get tot he hospital and then the shift change happened and the new doc didnt want to believe I had ruptured, even though my reg OB said she saw it as well as several nurses and myself. So they stopped my labor and I am on hospital bedrest being montiored to see if I start leaking again or if I get an infection; being 4 cm and ruptured, its very likely I will. I don't mind waiting if it means he's not on a breating machine and gets to stay with us, but frustration doesn't seem like the right word for the situation, lol.

Yea thats what my hospital said. that if I ruptured during one of my PTL s they would keep me in the bed and stop labor, just keep checking for infection. That must be soo weird. Another week would make a big difference I bet. I pray you dont introduce an infection and all goes well. My hospital says theyve held ppl off for 2 weeks after their water broke. So keep your head up

Thank you, prayers are much needed! Its the waiting that kills me. I'm just ready for him to be here and to not mess with hospitals (hopefully) for a while.

Butting in... I didn't catch the post about your water breaking, geez!! Our stories seem to paralell with the LO's wanting to debut early and such..

Hope you get another week or more if possible! I'm going in on Thursday to see if I'm going to be induced on Friday or the following Friday since my LO isn't growing well anymore. They're just trying to get me to 36 or 37 weeks if possible but I was told that at 35 they'll be just fine too so hopefully yours will be just fine if he does come soon. And hey being 4 cm is like jumping in half way through the game when the time comes so that's good news!
