Snow!

Yayayayay! We got snow! It's not quite the blizzard the weatherpeople predicted, but we've got a nice heavy cover and it's still coming down. It's beautiful!

We're *supposed* to get 8-14 inches by tomorrow, so maybe we'll even get a snow day! Here's hoping lol. I love the snow and I am so excited that we're getting a good storm already. I just want to go play in it!

I am seriously jealous!  I'm getting tired of the back and forth we're having in MI right now - it's going to be in the 60's all this week!  I like it cool/cold and I absolutely HATE it when we have these indian summers.  I would take snow over warm at this point!

That's so exciting! I love snow, except when I have to drive anywhere in it.  All we have here is yucky rain.

OMG!  Snow?!  I used to love playing in it when I was a child.  Now that I live in Florida (for the last 12+ years) I haven't had to deal with snow.  So crazy how it can be snowing for you and in the high 80's for me!

I hope the DC area gets some good snow this winter. The past couple of winters have been mild or we have gotten ice storm. I look forward to being home with baby this winter.

LOL I don't mind driving in it, it's all the other "special" people on the road that scare me. I got cut off on the way in this morning by someone going about 15mph slower than me, and I had to hit the breaks on ice. Not fun. But that's part of CO living!

I'll send an email to Mother Nature, see what she can do about the weather requests. It looks to me like it's heading west after it sits here for a few days, but it might be too tired at that point to do much...

Wow, I am so glad it's still sunny and warm here. DD may get to go out trick or treating with just one layer under her costume this year, which is so much more fun than packing snow pants under a tinkerbell dress.

The crazy thing about CO is that by Saturday it's supposed to be in the 50s and sunny again. So just one extra layer for DD too (we aren't going far or for long). I'm excited! First trick or treating!

Oh I wish I could see. I wish it snowed here or at least got cold. It's still in the 80s. Guess that is what I get for living in Southern Texas.

I'm loving the snow today, too. I'm lucky to work from home and not have to drive in it, although it took DH an hour to get to work today. I can't believe it's been coming down ALL day. It's so pretty! I'm from Texas originally so everytime it snows, it's a novelty for me!

I am SO jealous!  I was hoping we might get some of that snow (wishful thinking, I know!)  I'm a teacher, and I'm due in May, so I'm hoping for a TON of snow days this year, since I won't have to make them up!
