Update: Change in Fetal Movement...Worried

Ladies, thanks for your reassuring words.  Since my job is 10 minutes away from both my doc and my hospital, she told me to go there for an evaluation...that way if anything was wrong, they could act immediately.

The hospital, docs and nurses were excellent.  They took urine, hooked me up to a fetal monitor, did a sonogram to confirm heartbeat, an internal to be sure I wasn't losing fluid or bleeding, and did an ultrasound to confirm other details.  For those in NYC, St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital is great!

Everything worked out and they confirmed that LO is doing well.  In fact they complimented me on my urine...apparently I'm super hydrated.  I think I drank a gallon of water before heading to the hospital.

At first, I felt stupid but then I realized the bottom line is better safe than sorry!

 Thanks again ladies!

BTW, both the orderly who brought me upstairs and the radiology tech had DH's name...must've been a sign from above.

  • being embarassed just means you know youre a good mom, but didnt want to be looked at as a silly one! Ive been to L&D for the same reason and felt the same way, but at the end of the day I slept good that night knowing that my baby was healthy and I cared that much to go anyways!
