Yahoo! Membership Team is responsible for registration, login, account recovery, account management APIs, and openness, such as OpenID/Oauth for all of Yahoo!. Our systems require scale of hundreds of millions of transactions per day. We are looking for a software developer that is self-motivated and energetic, who will bring a thirst for knowledge, a willingness to be challenged and has a passion for cutting edge technologies to build the next generation Membership systems.

Job Qualifications
- Excellent C/C++ & OOD skills, including debugging and optimization
- Emphasis on client-side AND server-side performance and scalability
- Experience with high-traffic, mission-critical web applications a plus
- Computer science degree (BS, MS, or PhD) - knowledge of programming, algorithms, data-structures, databases, OO programming, and other software concepts

Preferred Qualifications:
- PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS skills
- Internationalization
- Security knowledge
