While it can be linked to some really scary things as well as to GD,
very often women have perfectly healthy babies and pregnancies even if
they have polyhydramnios. So, even if you did have high fluid levels, chances are still really good that everything is fine.

Okay I should not have read this post. My fluid levels have been high the past few ultrasounds I've had (I've had one weekly for about 4 weeks). The u/s tech mentioned that I had a lot of fluid but never said it was a bad thing and my dr has never said a word about it. I will have to ask when I go Thursday, but now I'm freaking out right along side you!
LOL I do the EXACT same thing. Lock us both up!! I have the opposite problem and have been googling low amniotic fluid and IUGR. Ugh, the worrying NEVER ends.

Step away from Google... especially if you don't even KNOW that is what you have. Guessing you are going on fundal measurement? Don't trust it THAT much, they can be off. Last week I measured a week ahead, and my baby has IUGR and is in the 8th percentile, so obviously, she is not big, and my fluid is normal... who knows why my belly is measuring ahead!
Re: OMG... why did I google
