Would killing my ex-husband really be THAT bad?

So, my oldest son has H1N1. He's been sick for a few days now and has been out of school.  It's fine because he NEEDS to stay out of school, but dumb a$$ ex wants him to go back tomorrow because they have mid-terms.  He's still been running a fever today. although low and so according to the CDC he doesn't need to go back!  Why is that so hard to understand??  Oh and his wife is a freakin' nurse.

It's so frustrating because I had to tell him all of this the other night because he wanted to send him yesterday, even though I knew his fever hadn't broken.  I still don't think it has but even if so it hasn't been 24 hours without any fever and no meds. You know when he finally decided not to send him to school yesterday?  When his wife told him it wouldn't be a good idea. 

UGH!!! 

I sent him an email expressing my concerns. I hope he listens.  I mean I am the MOTHER!!

I swear I'm gonna blow a fuse!!

Maybe we should make one of those pacts where I'll take care of that problem for you, and you take care of my DH's ex for me... lol

I hear you. My DH's ex called us on our way out the door one morning to ask if she could send step daughter to school with a fever and sore throat so that she wouldn't miss the school orchestra concert. 5th grade orchestra! Are you kidding me?!! And then she asked which Walgreens should she take a script from the doctor to? Umm... any walgreens in the US will fill the script!! There needs to be a big hole in the ground that you can push ex's into and they'll never be heard from again.

Shannon, Bc I have been accused of being a conniving biotch, I would email the school to let them know that he has H1N1 and that you are concerned about him and think that he should be home. I would mention the fact that he is still contagious and could infect other children.  I would imagine the school would send him home, whether your ex likes it or not.

Shelley, I like the way you think! I believe there's a little-know law that allows you to, um, 'dispose of' an idiotic ex.

Seriously, if he sends a kid with H1N1 to school for midterms, then he isn't exactly doing the boy (or his classmates or teachers) a favor. Go ahead and phone the school..

Shelley, I like the way you think too!  A$$hole still hasn't responded to my email.  I actually looked up the school's website and they have info about the flu and how to handle it on there.

Guess what it says?  The same thing I told him.

These ex's- it's just never ever easy.  I wish I'd known that when I eloped with teh a$$hole at 26 years old~!!  Stupid me.

I look back and wonder how I could've been so stupid!  Thank goodness I got 2 great kids out of the deal.
