Progesterone for how long?

in Pregnant after a Loss
I've been on 100 mg of vaginal suppositories 2x a day since ovulation and so far so good - I'm 9 wks 4 days today! (fingers crossed) The RE said that I could go off them in a week, but I'm scared as I thought I'd be on them thru the firs trimester. Just wondering what experience others have had...Thanks!

    I stopped my oral 100mg 2X daily supplement at 10w 5 days, and my baby is still doing great in there. It is nerve racking I know. I would ask if you could have them monitor your progesterone a couple of days after your come off, just for peace of mind.

    I stopped at about 11 weeks or so and my LO is due any day. :) Man did I love giving up those pains in the backside.
    BFP #1: 7-26-08, natural m/c 6w4d; BFP #2: 12-6-08, natural m/c 6w5d

    I was also on 100 mg vag 2x/day.  My RE took me off at 8w.  It was a little nervewracking, but it worked out fine.  GL!
