I am so unoriginal with chicken anymore! I am using some of the frozen chicken breasts I have around tonight for dinner, but I have no idea what to make. I'm looking for something quickish, since I get home at 5:45 and DD has to be in the bath by 7. All I can think of is BBQ'd or grilled, but it's too cold for that. TIA ladies!

Re: NBR: Need a good recipe w/chicken breast
grill chicken
make some rice (chicken flavor rice - lipton makes it)
throw in some cream of chicken with the rice, put rice in plater, add chicken, throw it in the stove with some foil wrap over it at 375 degrees for about 20 mins to 30 mins
serve with fruit and veggies....
delish and so easy.... my DD and DH LOVE this dish and it is my fave!
chicken tacos!
slice chicken into little pieces, put in pan with either a packet of taco seasoning or seasoning with the various spices (we use garlic powder, cayenne and red pepper when we make ours). add a little water and then let cook.
Serve with taco shells, lettuce, sour cream, cheese and salsa.
Takes about 15 mins.
wrap the chicken around cream cheese and jalepenos, then wrap w/bacon (uncooked) and stick w/toothpicks so it holds. Grill or bake in oven until cooked through. AMAZING!!! (you can also use banana peppers if you don't like it spicy, but the pickled mild jalepenos aren't too spicy and taste so good)
Hi there!
If you have these ingredients...
Refrigerated ready made pie crusts, canned mixed veggies, cream of chicken soup = Chicken Pot Pie (very easy to make)
Tortillas, shredded cheese, taco seasoning mix, salsa = Chicken Quesadillas (super quick and easy)
Deli ham, provolone or any white cheese, bread crumbs = Chicken Cor Don Bleu
If you need the actual prep instructions, just let me know!

Garlic Chicken (not very garlicky though, just amazing and juicy!)
Combine 1 tbsp. seasoning salt, 1 tsp. garlic salt and 1 tsp. onion salt in a bowl and set aside. Heat approximately 3 cups of chicken broth in a pot until boiling, then bring down to a simmer - transfer half the broth to a skillet and turn heat to medium. Stir 1/2 the seasonings into the broth and add the chicken breasts. Cook the chicken breasts, flipping occasionally, until the broth starts to get low (about 5-6 minutes), then add the rest of the broth and seasonings. Continue to flip the breasts until they are cooked through. If you want, you can coat the breasts in the seasoning mix and let them sit for a while before you cook them, but it's not necessary.
Easy Ranch chicken- One pack of ranch dip mix, one Tablespoon Veg or Olive oil (I use any oil that is around the house) and One/Two Tablespoons Water. Shake well. (can be use as marinade(two water) or coating(One water))
2 ways to cook
Stove top in pan "fried" method or in a a 375 oven for 30 mins or till done. If the chicken is very thick I tend to cut into smaller strips to make a faster cook time.
