A friend saw this on MomsMiami.com a few days ago and thought I'd share. WHERE TO EAT Pizza Hut: From 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, kids 12 and under love to walk up and serve themselves from the all-you-can-eat buffet of salad, pasta, pizza and dessert. Two kids eat free for every paying adult. The savings: $3.99 a kid (what the buffet normally costs). Kids 3 and under eat free always. Denny's, 12000 North Kendall Dr.: From 4 to 10 p.m., this location offers a kids D-Zone menu with 12 entrees to choose from, from chicken nuggets to pizza and pancakes and kids 10 and under can choose their own side dish, too. There are some healthy options, such as cucumber slices and grapes, along with the french fries. The deal is two kids eat free for every paying adult on Tuesdays and Saturdays. (Some locations do it on Tuesdays and Saturdays; others -- like the one at 8503 Bird Rd. -- offer the deal on Wednesdays and Sundays). Tony Roma's: Kids 12 and under get a choice of six entrees, an appetizer, dessert and drink, all for free all day, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., on Tuesdays. One kid for each paying adult. Cafe Tex Mex of Kendall, 12055 SW 117th Ave.: Kids get any entree on the kids menu -- all priced at $4.99 -- for free with one adult paid meal on Wednesdays. In addition to Mexican staples like tacos and quesadilla, the kids menu also includes go-to selections for pickier tykes like pizza, chicken nuggets and a "tex-mex'' hot dog, which comes wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. Picadilly Restaurant, 403 W. 49th St., Hialeah; 13250 Biscayne Blvd., North Miami; 8301 W. Flagler St., Miami; 4500 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood; 4697 N. State Road 7, Lauderdale Lakes. Kids eat for 99 cents all day from the kids' menu on Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Big kids can get bigger meals for $1.99. Hops Grill and Brewery, 9050 SW 136th St., Miami and 11555 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines. Kids eat free all day Tuesday with a paying adult. But they can't drink the beer. WHERE TO PLAY Miami Children's Museum: Free admission for everyone, sponsored by Target, from 3 to 9 p.m. the third Friday of each month. Young at Art Children's Museum, 11584 State Road 84, Davie: Everyone gets in free from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the first Friday of each month, sponsored by Target. Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, 1 Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale: Admission is always free for kids 17 and under with a Broward library card (or if you apply for one at the front desk); kids under 5 are always free; college students get in free, too. You can also apply for scholarships to the museum's Studio Arts program. The museum is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; till 8 p.m. on Thursdays. Regular admission is $10 for adults; $7 for kids. Flagler St., Miami: This venue's "family fun days'' gives free admission to everyone on the second Saturday of each month and includes an arts and crafts activity for kids. Upcoming themes include "tacky turkeys'' on Nov. 8; Kwanzaa and other holiday celebrations in December; and in January, the day in 1977 that it snowed in Miami.
