Watching yesterday's episode on Tivo, this couple is having their 3rd set of twins! They'll have 5 boys and 1 girl. They went through IVF for all of their pg's, and she said that with their 2nd set, she had no idea that someone could have 2 sets. Um, I don't think when the embies are being inserted, they think about the fact that there's another set so they decide for only 1 to implant. Anyway, thought it was strange that they're on their 3rd set, and also was surprised that she didn't think it would be possible to have more than one set.

i saw it yesterday and thought "what an idiot!"... it's people like her that make IVF look bad... They should have known- period. Going forward with 2 or more embies is one thing- but to say you didn't even know it could happen??? Why weren't the docs telling her about the risks, etc?
And to do it AGAIN, a third time? Putting in more than one embie- when obviously they had great success before? Come on.
Her kids are all healthy- and it's fine she has 6 of them- but we all know there are risks with twins - i would never TRY to have twins again, let alone a 3rd time... and it seems like they tried to have twins, at least the 3rd time.
I was wondering the same thing!!
And at one point did she say "The Dr. told me it was twins again, and I thought "Oh he (my husband) is going to KILL me" Really??
Well I hope shes happy she FINALLY got her baby girl. : /
Sorry I'm moody today lol
And I am completely ignorant on this front, so excuse me. But how does years of being a ballet dancer render you infertile? I was a dancer for 12 years and never had an issue. Not trying to be snarky, I'm really just curious.
