I. Must. VENT!!

To give you the short version, a co-worker/friend of mine cheated on and left her DH about a year and a half ago for our IT guy at work. That relationship lasted all of 3 months and she was back with her DH who was gracious enough to take her back. Her sister and dad were not happy with her - gee, imagine that. Granted, her sister is an immature wench, but still, I think she had reason to be upset with her on this one. So all we hear for the last year is how her family is mad at her and blames everything on her and THEY'RE the ones in the wrong, yada yada yada. So today she posts this as her status on Facebook - WTF? Who puts that kind of personal stuff on FB for all the world to see???? And it's SO hard for me not to just tell her she should be grateful she still has her sister and dad in her life and to GROW the F*** up and get over it while they're all still here to be a family!!! First off I can't see how she doesn't see that her actions caused this whole thing in the first place and second - they are your FAMILY!!! Work it out before it's too late. I realize I'm hypersensitive to this because of my recent loss, but it just KILLS me to see people wasting time with their families when I would give absolutely ANYTHING in the world for even one more hour with my brother. I'm so glad my family doesn't fight or hold grudges over things and that all my memories of my brother are good ones. Ugh, I'm just so tired of hearing about it - and seeing it put out there so publicly just sent me over the edge!!! Sorry - vent over.

I probably wouldnt be friends with this person as I learned long ago to get rid of the constantly negative people in my life.  Also, publicly displaying family drama on facebook is simply trashy.

Totally trashy. And we aren't exactly "friends" as much as coworkers - so I have to see her everyday, have no choice.

How trashy and immature of her to post that on FB.  It amazes me sometimes of what people actually post on FB.  If she can't see that she is the one that caused her family to be upset with her, then she has some real issues.  I'm sorry you have to deal with that on a daily basis.

Vent away lovey!!!  We have a co-worker here in our dept and ALL of us are sick of her! 

She only started in June last year and became KU within a month or so.  I can (no joke) count the days on my two hands the amount of times she has ever actually turned up for work on time.  She is totally incompetent in her position and after leaving for her undeserved maternity leave (off for 4mths during May - Sept) now strolls on in the office about 9.30 - 10am (her start time is 8am) and then heads on out about 4.45..gives herself a 15min early leave time there!!

I have one person start before me (hours are 7-4) and I start at 7.30 till 4.30... do you know how frustrating it is when she waltz' on in 2hrs after me and yesterday left before me??!!!! WTF??!!! Arrgghhhhh.

Co-workers, can't work with em', can't get rid of them either!

Coworkers are the hardest because you spend so much time with them, whether you like them or not!

I also hate the oversharers on Facebook.  Some things are not for the public to see- even FB when someone has friended hundreds of people who are not close to them!  FB is not the place to air out your family/friend/SO issues, IMO.  Sorry you have to put up with that!
