I wanted to ask you ladies to say a special prayer for ColindaP who is going through a very hard time right now. I would also like to say good luck to Soontobemrsvega and ambrandau2 who have appointments today and to all of the ladies who have appointments between today and Saturday!!

QOTD: I was just thinking about this. I am not sure about a shower or if anyone will throw me one. My family is all out of state and only DH's parents live near us. Plus, I have no friends.

I have no idea when my shower will be, probably around 30 weeks I would think (thats about when people normally do them right??) and I'm sure it will be fough over between my mom and sister and DH's step mom (shes a big party planner)...
QOTD: My mom's best friend and her daughter will probably throw me a shower sometime in the spring. They mentioned having dibs on a shower this weekend. I'm sure my work will throw a small shower and probably another one for family.
Only 2 more days to our first ultrasound!!
We had our ultrasound yesterday and now have an EDD of June 6th (not 6/8 anymore
) Also we have a single baby

I do not think , nor expect a shower being this is my second baby. BUT if the baby is a boy , I would love a small shower or something. I think since *my* mom threw my 1st shower, that DH's mom would throw a small get together this time around. She has mentioned it a few times. BUT DH has a sister who has yet to get pregnant, so im not sure about that. I do not expect another shower or party, but it would be nice if the baby wasnt a girl.
Our next appt is on Friday!!! Hopefully the punkins cooperate and we get to see both heartbeats and babies.
My families are talking about having the shower in March as I will probably not be allowed to travel any later than that.

Nobody knows I'm pregnant yet... But my guess is that an aunt of my side of the family will throw a shower and my sister in law on my DH's side will (I threw one for her). I think I'd rather just invite my friends to my family shower rather than have a 3rd. I'm not sure if they'd want to throw one. I'm hoping for one in late April so I have all of May to figure out the loose ends before the baby comes.
Next appt is on 11/03.

I had to cancel my appt today
My FIRST us appt is 11/16 but I think im going to call and cry and beg for them to do one sooner.
later shower and im sure my mom and sisters will throw it for me.
My EDD is June 24th. My first apt is Nov 19. I got for an u/s and a check up with the doc.
QOTD: I haven't really given it any thought as when I would have a shower or who will throw it. Maybe my MIL. Usually my younger sis woul do it but she is KU too. She is due in April so not sure how that will work

Sorry, I missed this yesterday. My next appt is 11/20 and it's a single. Also, you can add my name to the chart.
I'll probably end up with 2 showers: one in CA where all my family lives and one in Florida where I live. My sis will host the CA shower and my MIL and a friend will probably co-host the one here. Since very few people know I'm pg right now it's hard to say when the showers will be.

First please update my due date drapped back to June 10th...lost a couple of days...and it's a singleton.
Baby Shower...hmm...my guess is that they will be late...7-8 months. And there will be lots of them. If the 4 wedding showers are any indicators (and that is just cause we had to fight with a couple of people to combine them) then my guess is there will be at least that many if not more, considering what we've gone through to get here.
As far as who is throwing them...I would say the same people as last time, + the possibilty of my DHs family having one for me too.
I just saw this - didn't want to read it yesterday. Thanks for the shout out and prayers! Got blood drawn today. We shall see Monday. My due date is now anywhere between 6/8 and 6/18, so who knows.
